Greg Janicki is executive director, marketing and communications for OESA. In his role, Greg is responsible for OESA marketing and communication strategy, implementation and execution. This function includes oversight of all OESA communications and publications as well as administration of OESA’s Communication Executives Council, Automotive Public Relations Council and the Warranty Management Council.
Greg has more than 20 years of experience in the global automotive industry, 17 of those years spent at CSM Worldwide (now IHS Automotive). Greg held many positions at CSM including Market Analyst, Forecasting and Analysis Group Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Areas that Greg affected include: corporate strategy, client services, human resources, organizational development, data analytics, business process innovation, product management and sales, information technology, and media relations.
Greg has also served as an industry columnist for Automotive Industries Magazine and Automotive Interiors Magazine and continues as a freelance writer with contributions appearing in numerous trade and general interest publications. He is also the author of "Cars Europe Never Built," a history of Europe's experimental vehicles.
Additionally, Greg is a volunteer mentor for the ART of Leadership Foundation, which provides leadership training to inner city middle school students. Greg is also a Board of Education Trustee for the Walled Lake Consolidated School District. He is also an avid runner.
Greg
earned his bachelor’s degree in communication and psychology from
Michigan State University and is currently pursuing a master’s in
business administration from the Eli Broad School of Management at
Michigan State University.
