OESA Conducts Mexico Operations Survey for 2012

OESA Conducts Mexico Operations Survey for 2012
Margaret Baxter, OESA

Security in Mexico continues to be an ongoing discussion topic for a number of OESA councils.  Many member companies with operations in Mexico, or with employees travelling to Mexico, have ramped up security protocol in recent years.  In 2011, OESA conducted a survey of members on their Mexican operations, seeking to uncover benchmark and best practice information around maintaining employee and facility safety in the country.

OESA has launched the 2012 version of this survey, with a focus on revealing what regions of Mexico pose the greatest risk for members, as well as to highlight security measures that are effective in preventing problems and mitigating risk.  OESA wishes to promote best practices, dispel rumors and provide a balanced view of members’ experiences in Mexico.

The survey is open for member participation through Feb. 10, 2012.  It is available in both English and Spanish language versions.

OESA will conduct a meeting on Mexico operations in mid-2012.  Information will be sent directly to members when details are finalized.

For further information or to access the surveys, contact Kathy Reiss at 248.952.6401 ext. 247 or kreiss@oesa.org.
