Bio
Glenn Stevens is vice president, sales and marketing. In this position, Stevens leads the member services, sales, marketing, database management and on-line presence of OESA. In addition, he is responsible for coordinating and administering several OESA peer group councils, as well as planning and execution of special events.
Stevens has over 20 years of experience across the steel, specialty chemicals, capital equipment and plastics industries. Prior to joining OESA, Stevens served as vice president of sales and business development with Blue Water Automotive Systems where he was responsible for strategy, marketing, sales management and communications. Before joining Blue Water, Stevens was vice president of sales and marketing at Kolene Corporation, responsible for leadership and management of the sales, marketing and technical service teams.
Stevens also served as manager of international automotive sales for National Steel Corporation, a subsidiary company of Japan based NKK Corporation, where he coordinated the sales and application development work with transplant OEMs operating in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. During his tenure at National, Stevens was responsible for automotive strategy and marketing as National’s automotive market manager; served in the operations group where he was responsible for the construction and operation of the Procoil Distribution Center and served as assistant plant manager of Procoil Processing and Distribution. Stevens began his career in 1987 in National’s automotive sales group with responsibilities for Tier One and Two stamping companies based in the U.S. and Japan.
Stevens currently serves on the Board of Directors for Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Southeast Michigan, the Michigan State University Oakland County Alumni Board of Directors and the Beverly Hills Little League Board of Directors.
Stevens holds a Bachelor of Science in economics and an Executive MBA from Michigan State University.
