The bylaws set forth the following requirements for membership:
REGULAR
MEMBER
Regular Member, being members engaged primarily in the: (1) manufacture of components,
modules and systems (herein called parts) for use in the manufacture and assembly of automotive
original equipment; (2) provision of product engineering, design, testing and prototyping services
integral to the manufacture of OE parts; (3) provisions of machinery, tools, dies and molds for
the manufacture of original equipment parts; and (4) provision of major materials (such as steel,
aluminum and plastics) used to manufacture original equipment parts in North America.
AFFILIATE MEMBER
Affiliate Member, being members who are not eligible for Regular Membership, but currently
provide products and services dedicated to the automotive industry and have suffi cient interest
in the work being performed by the Association and wish to support it, obtain publications and
participate in appropriate conferences events.
INTERNATIONAL MEMBER
International Member, being companies that meet all the criteria for regular membership, except
they do not conduct these activities in North America (Canada, Mexico, United States) but are
interested in the North American automotive market and the affairs of the Association.
DIVISIONAL MEMBER
Divisional Member, being subsidiaries, divisions and operating units of companies that are regular
members of OESA, provided they meet the association’s membership eligibility requirements for
regular membership. Divisional members receive all association services and benefi ts, but do not
have voting privileges.
Membership Dues
OESA regular member dues are based on the North American annual OE sales volume by member companies. Membership dues for affiliate and divisional members are a fixed price, regardless of annual sales volume. Dues must be paid in U.S. Dollars.
