Electrification, autonomous driving, connectivity, shared mobility and government policy changes are disrupting the automotive landscape at a rapid-fire pace. The synergy of automotive manufacturing and technological innovation presents the auto industry with many opportunities and challenges.
To help members stay abreast of the industry’s disruptive forces and major players in mobility, OESA is pleased to host the 2019 Industry Disruptors Series with thought leaders that are defining the mobility landscape.
The next Disruptors event will feature Lewis Liu, vice president of business development and strategy, Karma Automotive, on December 11, 2019, at The Dearborn Inn, Dearborn, Mich.
Southern California-based Karma Group, best known as a creator of luxury electric vehicles, has emerged as a high-tech incubator to help innovators prove their emerging technologies. Karma is disrupting the traditional retail-based automotive business model by opening its engineering, design, customization and manufacturing resources to other companies looking to speed product development, access new technology, or make their products more luxurious.
Featured at the meeting will be the Revero GT - a luxury electric vehicle powered by dual electric motors that embodies Karma’s goals of offering leading automotive design, technology, customization and an outstanding customer experience.
Karma Group is looking for suppliers, innovators, engineers and designers that want to work with a different kind of car company.
The impact of electrification, autonomy, connectivity and trade extends beyond the auto industry. Attend the Industry Disrupter Series briefing to understand the forces that are shaping the industry’s new landscape and connect directly with organizations to drive these changes.
