The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) will host the fourth quarter 2017 “Mobility Supplier Forum” on Nov. 28, 2017, at SRI International in Menlo Park, Calif. This series of meetings is intended to help automotive suppliers advance their business interests as they relate to connected and transformative technologies. This automotive forum meets quarterly in California’s “Silicon Valley” area with each meeting featuring insights from industry leading experts on issues of common concern for automotive suppliers.
The fourth quarter Mobility Supplier Forum features insight on The Future of In-Car Interaction by Girish Acharya, engineering director, SRI’s Artificial Intelligence Center. Acharya will share how recent advancements in artificial intelligence are being used to create trusted virtual passengers. These helpful digital companions will make vehicles safer, more reliable and more entertaining. Cynthia Haffey and Jennifer Dukarski, attorneys with Butzel Long will share insight on automotive OEM terms and conditions as well as interrelated considerations when negotiating automotive supply contracts.
The meeting will also feature a presentation from Gregory Dibb, deputy director and senior manager, connected vehicles, Nissan Research Center-Silicon Valley. Dibb will provide insight on current Nissan projects in Silicon Valley.
