Registration for the 2017 OESA Supplier Symposium with NHTSA which will be held December 8th, 2017 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi has closed. You will be able to register on-site at the event for no additional cost. There will be a designated individual who will help you complete registration.

Event Details

The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA), in cooperation with the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), is pleased to announce a supplier symposium with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Dec. 8, 2017, at the Suburban Collection Showplace, in Novi, Michigan.

This meeting is designed to foster open dialogue and an exchange of information between automotive suppliers and NHTSA. It will also give suppliers the opportunity for follow-up discussions with key NHTSA officials.

Ann Wilson, senior vice president, government affairs, MEMA, will provide an update on how MEMA works with NHTSA in Washington, D.C., to represent the automotive OE suppler industry.

NHTSA officials will then give an update on current activities and participate in a networking session with suppliers. The interactive session with the NHTSA Vehicle Safety team will cover current and future activities, proactive safety and additional areas of interest relevant to suppliers including:

  • Automated Vehicles Policy
  • Cybersecurity
  • Research Activities
  • Defects & Recalls
